Medical Program

The medical program consists of: General healthcare, Malaria testing and treatment options, Wound care, Wound closure and drainage of skin abscesses.


General health care:

  • Treatment of bacterial infections

  • Malaria testing and treatment

  • Arthritis management

  • Dietary advice

  • STD Treatment and education

  • Diagnosis and treatment options of Diabetes

  • Diagnosis and treatment of hypertension

  • Treatment of anemia

  • ORS and IV rehydration techniques and education

  • Pain management

  • Pregnancy testing

  • Management of eye and ear infections

  • UTIs and bacterial vaginosis

  • Managing allergies

  • Stomach ulcers

  • Hernia inspection and treatment plans

  • Deworming Treatment

  • Treatment of ring worm and fungi infections

  • GI infections

  • Asthma diagnosis and treatment plans 


Treatment of a variety of infections

  • GI, soft tissue, skin, chest, ear, bone, joint, UTI, STD, strep throat, pneumonia, bronchitis, septicemia, impetigo, meningitis, meningococcal, burns, bacterial vaginosis, Trichimonosis, anthrax, typhoid fever, salmonella. 


Education Programs

  • The Medical Education Program is aimed at educating the teachers at the local schools and the responsible young men and woman of the communities. Education is an extremely important program that will allow the locals to save the lives of their own people and pass on the training they have receive from Freedom for Health Asuogyaman. We strongly believe that the more we can teach the local people within the district will inadvertently create a safer and healthier environment for all.

  • 1 hour long:

    • Dental hygiene classes for local schools (all ages)

  • 2 hours long:

    • Health care and hygiene classes for the local schools (all age groups)

    • Sexual education classes for local schools (from ages 12-19)

  • Seven hours long:

    • First aid courses for responsible members of the communities (from ages 16-40)


 All medical programs will adhere to The Department of Health standards and procedures, there is to be no medical procedures practiced outside of the medical laws. Proper medical documentation will be necessary whilst working with Freedom For Health Asuogyaman.
